“We Are One” 24X41 1/2″. Machine pieced and quilted, words hand-embroidered. Description: A quilt that started out as one thing and ended up as another! I had a piece that I did not like, and so I cut it up. I started to insert crosses into the cut up pieces, and soon an image appeared on my design wall. It reminded me of a message my pastor had recently shared, that even though our beliefs may vary slightly, and our methods of worship are different, we are one. All over the world, and within our own small communities, we are called to be one. The phrases are found in Ephesians 4. NFS
